Job summary

Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Director of Nursing Research to lead a nationally recognized program. You will set vision, strategy, and growth for nursing research across OSUWMC and The James, mentoring nurse scientists and staff while advancing patient care through evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

PhD in nursing with demonstrable research contributions.
Experience in an academic medical center and supervising teams.
Ability to mentor leaders, peers, clinical nurses and students.
Certification in Nursing Administration or clinical practice within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Nursing Research Department with vision and strategic leadership.
Align nursing research initiatives with organizational mission and Magnet standards.
Develop educational programs to translate research into practice for staff.
Mentor nurse scientists, researchers, and leaders across teams.
Manage research infrastructure to support knowledge generation at OSUWMC and The James.
