Vintage Gardens, a Sonida Senior Living community in St. Joseph, MO, is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to join our friendly care team. You will set up and administer resident medications, support activities of daily living, and assist with personal hygiene to ensure comfort and safety for our residents.

Qualified candidates must hold an MO Medication Aide license and maintain active licensure. This role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration.
• Provide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene including baths, showers, and related care; may supervise CNAs as directed.
• Monitor patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, and documenting intake and output.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
