Park Place Senior Living at Winghaven in O'Fallon, MO, is hiring a Medication Technician to help create a safe and caring home for residents. You will administer medications, support daily activities, and collaborate with CNAs to maintain resident well-being.

Qualifications

THE JOB:

As a Medication Technician, you'll help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for our residents. With your kindness, attention to detail, and dependable teamwork, you'll make a difference from the moment your shift begins. Working closely with the team at Park Place at Winghaven, you'll play a key role in delivering the exceptional care and experience that defines our community.

THE STARTING RATE:

$22.00 per hour

THE SHIFTS:

• Nights: [7:00p - 7:00a]
• [Full-time]

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred, but not required
• Required license/certification, if applicable
• A caring attitude and reliable attendance
• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
