Vintage Gardens, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide in St. Joseph, MO. You will manage resident medications, assist with daily activities, and monitor health indicators to ensure safe, compassionate care.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, collaboration with nurses, and maintaining high standards for resident dignity and comfort in a memory care and assisted living setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Medication Aide in Missouri required.
• Experience with geriatric care and medication administration preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems is a plus.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
