The Ashton at Villages Crossing, a Sonida Senior Living community in Lady Lake, FL, is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents with safe medication administration and daily living tasks.

Formación

• Must be licensed in Florida as Medication Aide and maintain current, active licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards; may supervise CNAs as directed.
• Provide personal hygiene and daily living support (baths, showers, grooming, feeding, mobility, hydration).
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure residents’ comfort and safety.
• Monitor vital signs, document intake/output, and report changes to nursing staff.

Medication Aide Responsibilities include:

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
