The Jasper of Sarasota, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a Medication Aide for the 3pm–11pm shift in Sarasota, FL. You will administer prescribed medications, support daily living activities, and monitor resident health in an assisted living and memory care setting.

Licensed Florida Medication Aide required; experience in senior housing is a plus. Competitive benefits are offered including health, dental, 401k with match, and PTO from day one.

• Must be licensed as Medication Aide in Florida.

Responsabilités

• Administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration.
• May supervise CNAs as directed.
• Provides personal hygiene assistance and activities of daily living support such as meals, showering, and mobility assistance.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and recording intake and output.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information
