Job summary

Jersey College's Tucson Campus invites applications for qualified nursing educators to join the Nursing Program. Members will prepare progress reports, maintain attendance, and assess student competence in line with program goals.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's with teaching hours; a Master’s degree is preferred. Prior teaching experience is welcome but not required. This on-site role offers growth in a supportive academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school.
• Master degree is preferred.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
• Attending faculty meetings
• Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration
