Job summary

Concorde Career Colleges in California seeks a Director of Nursing (VNPN) to lead and manage our Vocational Nursing/Practical Nursing programs, ensuring high educational standards, accreditation compliance, and strong student outcomes.

You will oversee curriculum development, faculty performance, and student success initiatives, while partnering with clinical sites and leadership to promote excellence in teaching and program growth.

Qualifications

• RN license in California (unencumbered).
• BSN required; MSN strongly preferred.
• Courses in administration, teaching, and curriculum development from approved school.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies to align Nursing Program with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with academic leadership to design and update curriculum to meet industry standards.
• Conduct program reviews and evaluations to maintain quality and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with state boards of nursing and accrediting agencies; submit required reports.
• Recruit and develop faculty; support their retention and promotion.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate faculty performance; lead professional development.
• Oversee admissions, progression, and retention; support student success.
• Promote the Nursing Program through partnerships with clinical sites and marketing.
