Job summary

Unitek College Of Nursing in San Jose, CA, seeks an experienced program director to supervise and develop the nursing program activities, ensuring compliance with Board rules, curriculum development, and clinical site coordination.

You will manage the RN program budget, faculty, and student records, oversee admissions and orientation, and serve as liaison between the college, community, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in the state where the campus is located.
• Master’s or higher degree in nursing, education or administration.
• At least two years of experience in an administrative position.
• Two years of teaching experience in post-licensure nursing programs.
• Experience as an RN providing direct patient care or equivalent.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site supervision and nursing program activities.
• Plan, develop, manage and evaluate the RN program budget.
• Coordinate curriculum development and clinical site liaison activities.
• Ensure program compliance with Board rules and regulations; conduct site visits.
• Serve as liaison between community, college and external partners.
• Oversee admissions, orientation and student records processes.
