Job summary

Unitek Learning seeks a Campus Dean to lead BSN and LPN programs at our Albuquerque campus. The Dean provides leadership, manages faculty, curriculum, accreditation, and operations while building partnerships with healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, curriculum revisions, program outcomes, faculty development, and reporting to accrediting bodies. The role requires RN licensure, advanced degree, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state where the campus is located.
• A master's or higher degree from an accredited college or University that includes course work in nursing, education or administration.
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs.
• Experience in supervision, planning, budget preparation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to the department to achieve stated outcomes.
• Assist with budget preparation and monitor expenses.
• Develop curriculum revisions and courses.
• Oversee nursing program components to achieve outcomes.
• Ensure qualified faculty and supervise staff to meet goals.
• Prepare for accreditation and annual/ interim reports.
• Collaborate with college leadership on student retention and graduation.
• Lead recruitment and hiring of faculty.
• Teach a course within the Department of Nursing as required.
