Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach seeks a Nurse Professional Development Generalist to support IMCU, ICU and other clinical departments. This 40-hour per week role assumes operational responsibility for staff education, orientation, practice transitions, and continuing education.

The incumbent will provide foundational education, competency validation, and contribute to quality, safety and patient outcomes through evidence-based practice projects.

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN license in state(s) of practice.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as defined by specialty.
• 5 years of Critical Care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement staff education within designated populations.
• Serve as a learning facilitator for orientation, practice transitions, and continuing education.
• Provide foundational education and competency validation for nursing staff.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $100,380.80 - $148,844.80 annually. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
