Ascension Living in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Nursing Leader/Manager to oversee clinical services, staff, and quality-of-care initiatives within the Skilled Nursing department at Carroll Manor. Qualifications include RN licensure, 5 years of leadership experience, and a nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure required prior to hire date.
• BLS Provider preferred.
• 5 years of leadership or management experience required; 10 years preferred.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, organizing and implementing clinical services and programs.
• Communicate policies, expected outcomes, work routines, and work procedures to clinical staff.
• Assist with implementation and evaluation of quality of care including ongoing auditing of quality indicators.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfer to ensure appropriate care and compliance with State and/or Federal regulations.
• Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
