Job summary

A prestigious senior living community is seeking a Director of Nursing to provide leadership and oversight for clinical operations in accordance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, management experience, and will ensure quality care compliance. Responsibilities include developing healthcare processes, budget analysis, and serving on improvement committees. Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience as a Registered Nurse with supervisory/management experience.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Virginia, in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid Certified.
• Long term care experience required; acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for the Health Center areas.
• Develop, organize, and evaluate interdisciplinary processes.
• Communicate nursing standards and accountability measures.
• Analyze monthly statistical and budget variance reports.
• Serve on the Continuous Quality Improvement Committee.

Skills

Strong clinical and assessment skills

Ability to deal tactfully with various stakeholders

Ability to lead and motivate staff

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nursing
