Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a Nursing Administration leader at Highsmith Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville, NC. This role serves as a central contact for nursing issues in the absence of Nursing managers, coordinating bed assignments with ED, units and Patient Placement to ensure safe, expeditious patient placement and assignment.

Responsibilities

• Mines rounds to assess patient placement and staffing needs.
• Coordinates bed assignments with ED, units and Patient Placement.
• Intercedes in difficult patient/family situations and resolves issues.
• Facilitates departure of discharged patients.
• Assesses staffing based on patient acuity and policies.
• Communicates with Patient Care Manager and completes reports.
• Monitors hospital operations including patient flow and satisfaction.
