Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Homewood, AL, seeks a Nursing Operations Manager to lead Surgical and Medical ICU teams and oversee inpatient direct care units. The NOM will set staffing strategies, monitor quality, and partner with executive leadership to achieve patient care goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating nursing operations, budgeting, recruitment, and implementing evidence-based practices while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital goals.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required; MS/NP or DNP or BSN with graduate degree in business/health field preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Alabama RN license or NLC; BLS; additional certifications depending on population (ACLS, PALS, NALS, TNCC).
• Experience: Two years RN in acute care and one year leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of patient care to achieve outcomes and ensure quality, safety and compliance.
• Plan, lead, direct, and evaluate nursing services and staffing to support patient care.
• Manage budgets, recruitment, development, mentorship, and performance of team members.
