Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking a Nursing Operations Manager to oversee the CVICU/Coronary Care Unit teams within the ICU. This full-time role provides leadership and operational oversight for inpatient direct care units and partners with hospital leadership to achieve goals.

Qualified applicants will hold a BSN, with MSN/DNP or a business-health graduate degree preferred; Alabama RN license or NLC and BLS; leadership certification within 2 years is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a BSN required.
• MSN, DNP, or BSN with graduate degree in business or health-related field preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Alabama or NLC; BLS; ACLS/PALS/NALS potentially required; leadership certification within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates environment and ensures quality service, patient flow, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Plans, leads, directs, and evaluates delivery of patient care to achieve outcomes.
• Promotes a healthy environment prioritizing patient and staff safety and reliability.
• Participates in policy formulation and change management.
• Manages budget and staffing, recruitment, development, and performance.
• Oversees implementation of new technologies and services supporting operations.
