Job summary

Exton Post Acute is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support clinical operations, empower nursing teams, and ensure safe, high-quality care for residents in a 120-bed facility in Exton, PA. You will lead with compassion and collaborate across the interdisciplinary team to maintain excellence in patient care.

The role requires an active RN license, 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, and supervisory leadership. Competitive salary range and full benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• RN license in this state is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, nursing care center, or related healthcare setting.
• Supervisory experience with leadership principles, staff development, and teaching practices is required.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with professional interactions with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
• Knowledge to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning nursing operations and coordinating initiatives to support resident care.
• Serve as care champion for the dialysis den, ensuring clinical excellence and compassionate care.
• Monitor unit activities, enforce policies, evaluate performance, and coach staff.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct rounds to monitor nursing care delivery, staff morale, and resident needs.
• Oversee administrative functions related to Nursing Services to support compliant operations.
