Job summary

Quest, Inc. seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical operations at our Intermediate Care Facility serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The ADON reports to the Director of Nursing, supervising day-to-day nursing activities and ensuring high-quality resident care. You will mentor nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida RN or LPN license.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in long-term care or similar setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations in partnership with the Director of Nursing.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff while fostering a collaborative, accountable team.
• Ensure compliance with AHCA, federal, state, and organizational regulations.
• Coordinate admissions, physician orders, and medical appointments for residents.
• Oversee medication administration, infection prevention, and documentation standards.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and professional development of nursing staff.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during clinical or operational needs.
