Job summary

The Plaza Rehab and Nursing Center seeks an experienced Nursing Director to support the Chief Nursing Officer in executing the goals of the nursing department. You will model exemplary professional practice and coordinate outcomes-based care within an interdisciplinary framework to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state employed.
• BSN in Nursing or Health Administration preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OBRA, Joint Commission and State Rules and Regulations.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement nursing and resident care policies.
• Ensure compliance with government and accrediting standards for Nursing.
• Direct systems and programs meeting regulatory standards.
• Plan and deliver high-quality patient/resident care.
• Maintain standards of care and develop required policies/procedures.
• Ensure staff compliance with department and facility policies.

Education

RN license in state employed

BSN or Health Administration preferred

CPR/BLS certified
