Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: step in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee Resident Care: contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs.
• Manage Nursing Staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: review and maintain up-to-date resident records.
• Develop Care Plans: collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans.
• Support Staff Resources: ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Uphold Infection Control: conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures.
