Job summary

NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Personal Care Nurse Manager for an established continuing care retirement community in Newtown Square, PA. The role combines nursing leadership with direct resident care in the personal care and memory support departments.

Ideal candidates are visible, approachable leaders who coach staff, respond to clinical changes, and actively participate in daily operations. RN preferred; experienced LPNs considered.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania nursing license with RN preferred, LPN considered.
• Minimum two years of direct personal care experience.
• Three to five years of supervisory or nursing leadership experience.
• Current CPR certification and strong clinical judgment.
• Experience coaching staff and maintaining performance accountability.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania personal care requirements, Chapter 2600, and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day nursing leadership across personal care and memory support.
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing education for staff.
• Set expectations for care delivery, documentation, and conduct.
• Coach staff, give feedback, and address concerns with leadership.
• Maintain continuity of care and effective cross-department collaboration.
• Support resident assessments and care planning; monitor changing needs.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation and assist in resident care when needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with policies.
