The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, with RN licensure, and demonstrated leadership with 3+ years in nursing management. Staff development and patient-centered care are central to this position.

Qualifications

• BSN required; current RN license in state of practice or compact
• Minimum 3 years of professional nursing with leadership experience (required)
• 1 year in a relevant specialty and prior management/supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees 24-hour operational oversight, nursing staff supervision, and clinical support
• Mentors staff and provides clinical leadership
• Partners with interdisciplinary teams to meet KPIs and improve patient outcomes
• Models high reliability and safety principles; ensures adherence to core professional practices
• Manages productivity targets and executes strategic initiatives for the unit
• Supports Mercy Health mission and nursing practice standards
