Job summary

Mercy Health in Springfield Regional Medical Center seeks a Lead RN/Charge Nurse to coordinate patient care on a designated unit in collaboration with the Clinical Manager. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred on hire; obtain prior to patient care.
• Certifications may be required based on unit leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on a designated unit under the Clinical Manager.
• Lead nursing staff and support ongoing quality and patient experience initiatives.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and clinical guidance in the absence of the unit leader.
• Foster interprofessional collaboration and effective communication with patients, families, and departments.
