Nampa’s Emergency Department is a 21-bed unit with a RN/Patient ratio of 1:4. In this role you will provide operational support to leverage subject matter expertise across multiple settings and operating units in support of St. Luke's Health System mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
The Manager of Nursing and Patient Care is responsible for managing operation of a single or multiple units based on size with 24/7 responsibility for all nursing and patient care activities to include: patient experience and consumer engagement, stewardship, culture and quality and safety. Direct reports include but aren't limited to Assistant Manager Nursing/Patient Care, RNs, HUCs and CNAs.
Education: Bachelors' of Nursing Degree
Experience: 7 years' relevant nursing experience; Emergency and leadership experience highly preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart
