Job summary

Sonida Senior Living seeks an LPN/LVN at Summit Point, a Sonida Senior Living community. The role includes overseeing nursing assistants, administering medications, and ensuring smooth daily operations to support resident care in an Independent Living/Assisted Living setting.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license is required and must be in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Strong patient care and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with guidelines.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations about shift activities.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications and equipment; report needs to nursing supervisor.
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Pull charts and perform related office duties as required.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
