Job summary

The Woodlands of Hamilton, part of Sonida Senior Living, is seeking a licensed LPN/LVN to oversee nursing assistants and deliver quality care in an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community in Hamilton, OH.

Responsibilities include medication administration, shift reporting, supply management, and coordinating with pharmacies. Eligible candidates must hold an LPN/LVN license and meet licensure requirements. A broad benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year experience required.
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
• Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility.
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents.
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required
