Job summary

Beaumont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Anderson, IN is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the daily functions of the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of resident care.

Responsibilities include policy development, staff coordination, regulatory compliance, staffing planning, discharge planning, and ongoing quality improvement. RN license, nursing degree, and leadership experience required.

Qualifications

Must possess a Nursing Degree and be a Registered Nurse with current license.
Experience supervising nursing staff in a long-term care or hospital setting.
Strong ability to develop policies and coordinate care across teams.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing day-to-day nursing department functions.
Develop and update policies and procedures for nursing services.
Ensure nursing staff follow job descriptions and stay compliant with regulations.
Participate in surveys and coordinate resident discharge planning.
Monitor QA/QM reports and suggest corrective actions.
Assist in staffing plans and recruitment for nursing personnel.
Provide direct nursing care as needed and oversee rounds.
