A RN license, CPR certification and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a health care setting are required, along with strong leadership and communication skills and adherence to confidentiality in resident care.

Qualificações

• Must have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a health care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be a supportive team member and collaborate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the nursing service department and its programs.
• Develop, maintain and update policies and procedures for the nursing department; report to Administrator/Medical Director.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care; participate in QA/PI activities and surveys.
• Assist HR in performance evaluations and disciplinary documentation; manage staffing and scheduling.
• Monitor QA/QM data, infection control, TB management, and safety policies; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review nurses' notes and medication passes; provide direct nursing care when needed.
• Coordinate continuing education and in-service training for the nursing department.
