Job summary

EHG in Virginia Beach seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department across clinical and administrative operations. This role emphasizes quality care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

The ADON will help manage staffing, performance evaluations, training, and adherence to company policies and government regulations to maintain high standards of patient

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Meet physical and sensory requirements stated below, and be able to work in the described environment.
• Assist in management duties including, but not limited to, hiring, training and developing, coaching and counseling, and terminating department staff, as deemed necessary.
