Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) at Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing to lead the nursing team and uphold high standards of resident care.

The DON will manage clinical operations, ensure CMS compliance, mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and drive performance improvement across the facility. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a collaborative, safety‑focused culture.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state-specific)
• 3–5 years nursing leadership in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, and clinical compliance
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive performance

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing operations and ensure delivery of high-quality resident care
• Maintain compliance with CMS and other regulations
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
• Monitor quality measures, infection control, and performance improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor costs
• Oversee survey readiness and manage regulatory inspections
• Investigate incidents, address concerns, and ensure timely resolution
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
