Job summary

Campbell Street seeks a Director of Nursing Services to lead the nursing department and ensure the highest quality care for residents. The DON collaborates with the Director of Clinical Services to implement policies and manage the Restorative Care program, while maintaining compliance with the Residents' Bill of Rights and QAPI.

The role focuses on recruiting licensed and non-licensed staff, budget oversight, infection control, and coordination with contract therapy to elevate care quality.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of the facility.
• CPR certification and emergency care training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, termination and development of nursing staff.
• Monitor performance evaluations for nursing staff and coordinators.
• Ensure staffing levels meet resident care needs and acuity.
• Develop and implement nursing service objectives and policies.
• Monitor compliance with Federal and State guidelines and the QAPI program.
• Collaborate with families and staff to ensure high-quality nursing care.
