Job summary

UCP of Long Island seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing practice across OPWDD-certified residential programs. You will develop objectives, oversee QA, and ensure compliance with care standards while coordinating nursing operations across the agency.

The role requires an NYS RN license, a BSN or MSN, and 5+ years of leadership experience. OPWDD experience strongly preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package and generous vacation time.

Qualifications

• NYS Registered Nurse license required.
• Leadership experience of 5+ years.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• OPWDD experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of RNs, LPNs, Nursing Supervisors, and AMAP staff.
• Develop nursing objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain Nursing Quality Assurance Plan and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate ICF and IRA regulations; participate in leadership meetings.
• Provide healthcare consultation and emergency nursing coverage.
