Job summary

Valley Hill Health and Rehab in Hendersonville, NC is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing daily nursing services for our skilled nursing facility.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, at least two years of supervisory experience in healthcare, and basic computer/EHR skills; we offer on-site leadership development, competitive pay based on experience, and a commitment to compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state where you work (or LPN license where allowed).
Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related healthcare facility (preferably long term care).
Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department.
Work with the Administrator and Medical Director to maintain high quality of care and comply with applicable standards and policies.
