Ridgewood Center in Bedford, NH is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient, high-quality care. This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to impact patient and family satisfaction as well as staff engagement.

The position requires an RN license, at least 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years in nursing supervision in a long-term care setting, and knowledge of the MDS process and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• RN license with a State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical nursing experience; LTC supervision in a long-term care setting is required.
• Knowledge of the MDS process and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure quality of clinical operations in nursing units, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, allocate, and control the nursing department budget.
• Foster continuous improvement and mentor staff to maintain top of license practice.
• Assist with nurse staffing, including performance evaluations, interviews, and orientation.
