Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University’s School of Nursing seeks an assistant/associate professor focused on Nursing Leadership to deliver student-centered teaching and clinical instruction for undergraduate and graduate programs.

The role includes advising, mentoring, curriculum development, and engagement in accreditation. The ideal candidate will establish a funded research program, publish, supervise DNP projects, and contribute to university service.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a PhD in nursing or DNP with a significant research track record.
• Pedagogical skills to teach in nursing leadership for undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Three years of clinical experience related to nursing care.
• Eligible to hold RN and PMHNP licenses in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered teaching and clinical instruction for undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Advise, mentor, recruit, and assist in curriculum development and program assessment.
• Establish and sustain an externally funded research program and publish scholarly work.
• Supervise and support DNP student projects; contribute to service to the School and university.
