Storybrook Care and Rehabilitation is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing / Infection Preventionist (ADON/IP) to lead our Nursing Services Department and champion infection prevention across the facility. This leadership role supports planning, organizing, and oversight to meet high standards of care and safety for residents.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure quality care, compliance with federal/state guidelines, and a safe, healing environment.

Formación

• Must be graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and hold an active RN license in the state
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care facility
• Infection Prevention (IP) certification is required
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and age-appropriate resident care

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop, organize, and direct the nursing service department and its programs
• Develop and update policies and procedures for the nursing department
• Complete administrative duties (forms, reports, evaluations, charting)
• Determine staffing needs and appropriate nurse staffing levels
• Ensure nursing staff participate in approved training programs
• Assign work, schedule duties, and perform rounds to monitor performance
• Participate in resident admissions and care planning
• Prepare nursing service department budgets and coordinate with Administration
• Attend and contribute to nursing service meetings
• Demonstrate compassionate patient care and collaborative teamwork
