Storybrook Care and Rehabilitation in Colorado is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing / Infection Preventionist (ADON/IP) to lead our Nursing Services Department. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines, and champion infection prevention to keep residents safe and cared for with compassion.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an approved RN program and hold an active RN license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a health care facility.
• Infection Prevention (IP) certification required.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations.
• Ability to work with elderly residents and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and direct the nursing service department and programs.
• Develop and update policies and procedures for nursing services.
• Perform administrative duties such as forms, reports, and charting.
• Determine staffing needs and optimal nursing levels per shifts.
• Ensure training programs for nursing assistants are completed.
• Schedule and participate in nursing service meetings.
• Lead daily rounds to monitor staff performance.
• Oversee budget planning for the nursing department.
