Highland Square is seeking a compassionate and professional Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to collaborate with the Director of Nursing in supporting the nursing department at our rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to delivering premier resident care.

The ADON will oversee infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and budget support, ensuring high-quality outcomes for residents and staff in a long-term care environment.

Competenze

• Strong interpersonal communication with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for resident care.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.

Mansioni

• Ensure nursing staff comply with standards, practices and regulatory requirements.
• Support development and implementation of nursing budgets in coordination with administration.
• Implement compliance and quality improvement policies and procedures.
• Surveillance, rounding, analyzing and reporting healthcare-associated infections.
• Develop infection prevention policies meeting state, federal, regulatory and accrediting standards.
• Lead infection prevention initiatives and act as educator and agent of change.
