Job summary

Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Kentucky is seeking an experienced registered nurse to lead and deliver total nursing care on the unit under general supervision. 72 hours per pay across three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 AM–7 PM or 11 AM–11 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Graduates of accredited nursing programs are welcome; BSN preferred. Active Ohio RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS; basic computer skills and a commitment to safety and quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS approved by the American Heart Association.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit.
• Initiates and implements patient education and care plan.
• Ability to assess, critically think, rapidly recognize and respond to clinical changes.
• Administers medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and correctly.
• Maintains the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting.
