Job summary

The Nursing Lab Coordinator at Broward College Central Campus ensures the Nursing Lab and equipment are in optimal condition to support learning for full-time and part-time nursing students and faculty. The role oversees day-to-day operations, safety, equipment maintenance, and software used by students and instructors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Four years of relevant nursing/clinical education experience required.
• Strong diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities and training in the Nursing Lab with students, part-time staff, and faculty.
• Maintain and track supplies and records for the Nursing Lab; arrange repairs and replacements as needed.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the lab and manage waste disposal and safety-related tasks.
• Prepare Nursing Lab for upcoming semesters and assist with proctoring examinations.
