Grand Canyon University invites applications for a full-time Foundations Lab/Clinical Nursing Faculty member at our Chandler/East Valley site. The role focuses on reinforcing didactic content in clinical/lab settings and guiding pre-licensure nursing students.

You will collaborate with faculty to assess progress, participate in grading, and stay current with nursing education trends while supporting accreditation requirements. Travel to clinical sites is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
• At least 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Active, current ARIZONA RN license (or compact state).
• Teaching at the collegiate level is preferred.
• Excellent communication and the ability to build relationships with students and preceptors.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach within clinical and lab contexts for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content-area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical and lab objectives.
• Participate in grading written work and clinical lab performances.
• Maintain communication with program faculty and director, attend select faculty meetings.
• Stay current with trends in nursing practice and accreditation requirements.
• Travel to student clinical sites to observe performance.
