Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks a Foundations Lab/Clinical Nursing Faculty member to guide nursing students through clinical simulations and educational activities at our Albuquerque campus. The role requires coordinating with the Director of Nursing Services and overseeing equipment and processes to meet learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will have an MSN from an accredited program, an NM RN license, and relevant healthcare education experience, with the ability to lead scenarios,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from CCNE/NLNAC/ACEN accredited program.
• Active NM RN license, current and unencumbered.
• Two years related healthcare or education experience.
• Support university mission and doctrinal statements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary educational support for Clinical Simulation activities.
• Coordinate with the Director of Nursing Services to schedule activities and manage equipment.
• Oversee training processes and ensure learning outcomes are met.
• Lead validation and evaluation of simulation scenarios within the curriculum.
• Orient and direct Simulation Technician, actors, volunteers and faculty.
• Assist with video annotation, data capture and outcome reporting.
• Ensure safety and proper use of all simulation equipment and AV systems.
• Provide reports to didactic faculty on student progress.
