Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking a Foundations Lab/Clinical Nursing Faculty Member to provide on-site lab and clinical instruction for the new 16-month ABSN program launching May 2025 in Lake Mary, FL. The role emphasizes innovative teaching methods and industry trends with small class sizes.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in Nursing (MSN), possess an unencumbered Florida RN license, and have at least two years of medical/surgical or related experience.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in clinical or lab settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Evidence of ongoing professional involvement is desirable.
• Ability to travel to student clinical sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content in the context of clinical and lab application for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Participate in grading written and clinical/lab performance check-offs.
• Maintain compliance with program accreditation requirements and university policies.
