Job summary

Grand Canyon University in Jacksonville seeks a full-time Foundations Lab/Clinical Nursing Faculty member to reinforce didactic content and teach in the clinical and lab settings, applying knowledge and skills essential for pre-licensure nursing students.

You will collaborate with other faculty, participate in grading, and stay current with trends in nursing practice while ensuring accreditation requirements are met. Travel to student clinical sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and preceptors.
• Active, current Florida RN license or compact state license.
• Prior collegiate teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach within clinical/lab application of nursing knowledge.
• Collaborate with content-area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical and lab objectives.
• Contribute to grading of written and Clinical/Lab performance check-offs.
