Job summary

Community College of Allegheny County is seeking a Nursing Laboratory Coordinator (Temporary Part-Time) for North Campus. The role maintains nursing lab operations, supports student skill development, and coordinates lab activities and tutoring within standard college hours.

This position requires active RN licensure in PA and MSN, with at least two years of recent nursing clinical experience. The incumbent will manage simulation mannequins, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures,

Qualifications

• RN with PA licensure current.
• MSN required.
• Minimum of two years recent nursing clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory coordination with leadership and faculty to plan labs and testing.
• Student support and remediation including tutoring and progress communication.
• Scheduling and recordkeeping for labs and tutoring hours.
• Simulation support including setup, maintenance, and training on equipment.
• Inventory and supply management for laboratory materials and safety compliance.
• Maintain safe lab environment following asepsis standards and waste procedures.
• Collaborate with faculty on learning activities and ATI initiatives.
• Attend nursing department meetings and communicate schedules to students and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Head or Dean of Nursing.
