Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week assignment in Gunnison, Colorado. This role offers 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM shifts and a chance for extension, with weekly pay and full benefits.

Pay rate is $70-$76 per hour, with credentialing support and access to our corporate travel team to assist with assignments and relocation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work a mix of night and day shifts as required
• Provide compassionate care to laboring patients
• Support childbirth and lactation education
• Monitor vital signs during labor, delivery and recovery
• Assist with procedures during labor and delivery
• Offer emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain required certifications per position
• Complete CAPS checks as required
• Arrange reliable transportation due to limited public transit
• Contribute to community health through expert nursing care

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Gunnison, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a L&D:

• Work a mix of night and day shifts as required
• Provide compassionate and high quality care to expectant mothers during the labor and delivery process
• Support patients through the full range of care including childbirth and lactation education
• Monitor vital signs of patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Assist with medical procedures as needed during labor and delivery
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families during the childbirth process
• Maintain current required certifications as outlined in position requirements
• Complete Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check as required
• Ensure access to reliable personal transportation as public transportation is not available in the area
• Contribute to maintaining community health and wellness through expert nursing care
