Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. Schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week, with extension potential. Pay rate ranges from $68 to $74 per hour.

Requirements include an Oregon RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, as well as a BSN preferred and lactation/perinatal certification preferred. Duties include postpartum and newborn care, breastfeeding support, and neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Labor and Delivery experience.
• Oregon RN license required.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications required.
• BSN preferred.
• National Lactation or Perinatal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and care of Postpartum, GYN, Surgical, or Medical overflow patients.
• Manage and provide care for newborns.
• Assist with breastfeeding and infant nutrition.
• Resuscitate neonates per NRP guidelines.
• May lift up to 50 lbs.

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a L&D:

• Minimum of 3 years Labor and Delivery (LD) experience required
• Recent acute care hospital experience preferred (within the past 5 years)
• Oregon State RN License required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• BSN preferred
• National Certification in Lactation or Perinatal preferred
• Provide management and care of Postpartum (PP), GYN, Surgical, or Medical overflow patients
• Manage and provide care for Newborns
• Assist with breastfeeding and/or infant nutrition
• Ability to resuscitate neonates per NRP guidelines
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs
