Job summary

Central New Mexico Community College is seeking a full-time Nursing Faculty member to deliver high-quality instructional experiences across undergraduate and graduate learners. You will design courses, assess student outcomes, and participate in service activities within the School of Nursing and Patient Support.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Nursing, an active RN license (NM/Compact) and at least two years of clinical experience, with teaching exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing by the specified date.
• Current unrestricted RN license, NM/Compact or eligible for NM licensure.
• Two years of recent clinical experience and teaching exposure.

Responsibilities

• Effectively prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in assigned courses.
• Create a quality learning environment for diverse student populations.
• Structure classes and curriculum to outcomes; maintain records and documentation.
• Provide office hours and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner.
• Incorporate current technology and participate in service activities.
