Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality nursing instruction across LPN/PN and RN programs. The role involves classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical teaching to help students develop essential nursing knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 3 years of RN experience, with a passion for education and student success.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge in a nursing specialty contributing to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment fostering academic growth.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
