Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction and clinical education for LPN/PN and RN students. The position includes classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction, with a focus on safety, competency, and student success.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher nursing degree, maintains an active RN license, and has at least 3 years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses taught.
• Experience teaching or prior nursing education preferred.
• Knowledge of competency-based education.
• Experience with clinical evaluation and student assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in clinical environments and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely progress and grade reports.
• Attend faculty meetings and maintain professional qualifications.
